Sweden and Norway have chosen different immigration policy strategies when it comes to the reception of Ukrainian refugees. In this policy brief, Fafo researchers Guri Tyldum, Ida Kjeøy and Ragna Lillevik discuss the consequences of these policies.
The researchers ask whether Sweden, by saving on short-term expenses for integration measures, will have to face more extensive challenges related to poverty and the marginalisation of a new immigrant group.
