How to send in documents in asylum cases

For security reasons, you cannot submit documents electronically to an application for protection (asylum). You can deliver or send original documents to the police. You can send copies of documents by post to UDI.

How to send in original documents/passports

Any original passports and ID documents can be delivered in person to the police where you live.

You can also send them by post to:

You must write your contact information (name, address and phone number) and DUF number on a sheet of paper and include it in the envelope. 

Original documents must only be delivered or sent to the police. Do not send original documents to UDI.
