Am I in the Dublin procedure?
If you have been in a European country that is part of the cooperation under the Dublin Regulation, your asylum case will be dealt with under the Dublin procedure. In that case, you will either be notified about this when you register with the police, or you will receive a letter about it from us.
When will I be informed about which country will consider my asylum application?
If you are in the Dublin procedure, we will need about four months to decide which country is responsible for considering your asylum application. Some cases may also take longer.
Where will I live?
If your case is in the Dublin procedure, you will normally stay in a transit reception centre. If you are moved to an ordinary reception centre, it is because we need more time to find out which country is responsible for your asylum case.
