You or your child has been abused by your spouse or cohabitant
If you were granted a family immigration permit with your spouse or cohabitant, and you have divorced or separated, you can normally not apply for a renewal of your family immigration permit.
If you or your child has been abused by your spouse or cohabitant, you can instead apply for a residence permit for those who have been abused.
You who have been abused might also be able to apply for a different type of residence permit.
