Russian market traders


Market trading, one day per month

You do not need a permit to sell Russian products via market trading one day per month.

Requirements

  • You must be a Russian citizen resident in the Barents Region. The Barents region consists of Murmansk Oblast, the Republic of Karelia, Arkhangelsk Oblast and Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
  • The market trading must take place in Northern Norway (Nordland, Troms and Finnmark counties).
  • You must have been granted a sales permit from the municipality.
  • You must notify the police. 

Market trading in connection with municipal cultural events

You do not need a permit to sell Russian products via market trading in connection with municipal cultural events. You can only engage in market trading for a maximum of 14 days at a time, and a maximum of 28 days per calendar year.
