Which rules apply to using the card?

  • You cannot lend your card to others.
  • You must always bring both your passport and your local border traffic permit. You are obliged to present your card if the police ask you.
  • You cannot work in Norway.
  • When your local border traffic permit expires, you must apply for a new one.
