UDI has carried out additional safety assessments of Ukraine and, as of 13 January 2025, there are more areas we consider safe.
In order to seek protection in Norway, you must travel to Norway to apply.
If you have come to Norway to seek protection, you need to register at the National Arrival Centre.
When a child of foreign parents is born in Norway, the parents must apply for a residence permit for the child.
