Missing an email that your residence permit is about to expire soon?

We know that many who have collective protection have not received an email with information that their residence permit is about to expire, and that it is not necessary to apply for an extension.

This is due to a technical error in our systems. There is nothing wrong with your case, even if you have not received such an email.

You still do not need to do anything to have your residence permit extended if you have collective protection.

The collective protection scheme is extended by one year

The government has decided to extend the collective protection scheme by one year. Those who have collective protection can have their permit extended for another year. This also applies to those who have had collective protection for three years.
