The government has decided to extend the collective protection scheme by one year. Those who have collective protection can have their permit extended for another year. This also applies to those who have had collective protection for three years.

The same requirements apply as for previous extensions.

If you have been granted temporary collective protection and have resided in an area in Ukraine that the Norwegian authorities define as safe, you can still have your permit extended.

You do not need to do anything to have your permit extended, and you will have the decision and a new residence card sent to your postal address.

If you have BankID or Buypass, you can log in and see information about your stay on My page (external website). Here you can also see the email address and telephone number you are registered with at UDI.

If you do not meet the conditions for extension, you will be notified.
